We conduct medical camps in far-flung rural areas and urban slums to cater to health needs of the under-served populations. These camps are designed after a thorough assessment of the health needs of the potential beneficiaries and the existing health services in that particular area. Based on this, general or specialty camps are organized to provide preventive and curative services.
Medical camps in West Bengal
ISHP has successfully organized eight medical camps in West Bengal to provide basic medical care to the local poor population in the remote rural and flood affected areas. Over 30,000 patients benefited from the services provided in these camps. ISHP has also organized 12 eye care camps in Murshidabad district to benefit the elderly and school children of this area.
Medical camps in Delhi – NCR region
ISHP organized a Maternal and Child Health medical camp in the Azadpur area of New Delhi. This camp was organized to provide basic health services to women and children residing in the slum and surrounding areas. An awareness session on general health issues was also conducted successfully for the beneficiaries.
